User’s Voice: Tracey Johnson – CS-620SX
Tracey Johnson is an up-and-coming chainsaw carver who, despite only learning to carve in May 2014, has already made a name for herself as one of the U.K.’s most innovative and exciting wood sculptors.
I’ve been chainsaw carving since May 2014. The first saw I brought was the ECHO CS-280WES and as my carvings got larger I found myself needing a bigger saw.
With the CS-280WES, I already had confidence in ECHO, so I looked to the brand again and chose the CS-620SX for large work and blocking out.
I find it a great workhorse. It is a really manageable saw whether I’m ripping, plunge cutting or just need to remove bulk quickly. It has the power when I need it and is a very capable tool.
I’ve had my CS-620SX since June 2016 and it’s never let me down. I’ve used it on many jobs now, the biggest being a 20 foot tall oak stump carving which I would never have been able to do without it. No matter what I ask of it or how hard the going, it just gets the job done.
I find it easy to start (the decompressor really helps) and easy to maintain and being a 5 foot 3 girl, it’s not even that heavy either.
As with all my ECHO saws, I find the CS-620SX to be a solid reliable saw that gets the job done.
ECHO are right… you really can depend on it!
